Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland...

Well, we finally got our snow day. It was more like an ice day, but enough to give the ground a pretty white sheen and to leave my parents without power. Yikes. I'm sure it is delightful to live in a quaint historic neighborhood, but I think the next best thing is to live in walking distance of one. Here are some pictures from our winter walk through Central Gardens.

Above is our apartment. Where we have been cooped up for 48 hours. Minus the hour-long walk. Stirrrrr crazyyyyy...





Despite being cooped up inside with the roads too icy to go anywhere, we have had a lot of fun together. I am so glad I joined every other Memphian at Kroger on Thursday afternoon. We even had the ingredients to make oven-baked S'mores last night right before Price fell asleep on the couch around 8:07 pm and I watched a movie by myself. Sigh.
